Frequently Asked Questions

1) How do you get to Weston House?

You can get a taxi from Grantley Adams international airport which will cost approximately 200 Barbados dollars, or you can hire a car from the airport and drive, it will take you about 40 minutes. We can also organise a taxi for you for approximately 150 Barbados dollars, please let us know if you would like us to do that for you.

2) Where is the nearest supermarket?

The nearest supermarket (Massy) is in Holetown a couple of miles south of Weston House, and will provide everything you need including a pharmacy.

3) Do I need a car when I stay at Weston House?

There are some beautiful drives across the island, so having a car is recommended, however, you can always use taxis or even the local buses to get around if you'd prefer.

4) What meals will the housekeeper cook for us?

Our housekeeper will prepare and cook lunches and dinners for you if you wish, however, they will not always serve you your meals.  Our team work 5 days a week, and have the weekends off. 

5) Where would you recommend to eat?

We have some recommendations on the Local Area page which cover a number of our favourite restaurants.

6) Do we need to bring beach towels?

No, all your linens, towels and pool towels are provided at the house. If you need any more, please ask our team, who will be happy to help.

7) How easy is it to get to the beach?

You can access the beach directly from our tropical garden, and then dip your toes in the warm Caribbean sea. There is also a small reef outside the house, so you can snorkel and see the beautiful fish and coral.

8) Is maid service provided?

Yes, maid service is provided 5 days a week, the team have the weekends off so you will have the house to yourselves.  Depending on how many guests are staying, there will be a set number of our team to look after you. They will ensure that you have the most relaxing and unforgettable holiday.

9) Are hairdryers available?

Yes, there are hair dryers available for guests to use in every bedroom. 

10) Can we request an early check in or a late check out?

Our check out time is 11am, and our check in time is 4pm. However, we can see what the possibility of an early check in or late check out is when you make your booking, please request this and we will confirm availability. It will depend on other guest's arrival and departure times as we need to allow the team time to prepare the house.

11) Is the house child friendly?

We welcome children of all ages, but there are a number of steps up to the bedrooms, and down to the pool deck, so children will need to be supervised at all times.

12) Where is the nearest bank?

The nearest bank is in Holetown, where you can either withdraw money from the ATM or pop in to the bank. 

13) Is there parking available? 

Yes, there is parking for several cars at Weston House behind the electric security gates.  There is a remote control which our team will give to you to be able to open the security gates, and there is also a buzzer to let people onto the driveway. 

14) Is wireless internet included? 

Yes, there is wireless broadband available for guests to use. The access code will be available on arrival. 

15) Can you rent individual rooms?

No, the house is only available to rent as a whole house rental, it is not possible to rent individual rooms.
